Summer holiday season even reduced the frequency of trains so I decided to check out libraries in Oslo. It was not simple to find libraries that have longer opening hours. University and college libraries seemed generally to reduce their hours and thus public libraries are my choice for this summer
No.1 Public Library Majorstuen
It is enjoyable to sit in a public library, I do enjoy people talking silently, the occasional telephone call and < hush > sound from the librarian. It motivates to work and also to take occasional breaks and look at people.
The library allowed eating and drinking and they even provided coffee (for a small price) water and most importantly clean toilets.
